Today we bring you, the reader, into the fold a bit. Comics are a very sophisticated business, full of calculus and poetry. Perhaps you’ll learn something in these exchanges between our heroes.
ps. Heroes don’t make spelling errors. They are figments of your imagination put there by the evil workings of underground villains, please, no grammar-nazi emails or comments.
- David: hey could you split up the knocking since there are two panels, that way it gives passage of time
2:34 PM i like what we say, do you think lucia sould say alittle more?
- 2:35 PM Greg: i dunno what she would say
i figured she’d be speechless
2:36 PM and her “singing” “AHHhhhh!!”
fits withyour dialog
- 2:39 PM David: how about a pre-screem like guys,are you…
- Greg: the other option i had in mind was speechless in that 3rd frame
and then “oofta” in hte big one
- David: haha, yeah i like that oofta
its more her
- Greg: really?
- David: yeah i think so
- 2:40 PM Greg: oofta sure
but this is a mess
it’s an ohmygod mess
- 2:41 PM David: yeah, but i think that she should be used to our messes and just really hum about it and less horrified
2:42 PM or shocked
but not terrified
- 2:43 PM Greg: but we’re not that messy
are we?
this is a mess that cannot be tamed by her mild OCD
- David: bu i kinda like oofta, because then we can make fun of here Minnasotaness
yeah that’s true
play on her cleanlyness
- Greg: ok
2:44 PM i’m going with oofta
but only because i love you
- David: well go with what your gut tells you
- Greg: check the spelling on that
oofta?
- David: i just think we should develop alittle more of here charicater than just the scream
how, is it a word
2:45 PM oufta maybe?
uufta
“uuuofta”
- Greg: i think it’s oof
- 2:46 PM David: yeah, urban dic says your right

I believe the correct spelling is “oof-da.” You see, the “da” actually plays heavily into the displaced Norwegian / Minnesotan dialect.
